About

I grew up beneath the canopies of the Venezuelan mountains before uprooting my childhood to Florida. A stranger in both worlds, I found solace in creative expression to make sense of life, fueled by curiosity for the world and the limitless possibilities that art offers.

Ever since I could hold a pencil, I have been creating. My passion for the movies began in high school, where I learned the crafts of set design, makeup, and animation, specializing in makeup design and special effects for some years.

Inspired by avant-garde artists such as Maya Deren, Andrei Tarkovsky, and Charlie Kaufman, experimentation and exploration are central to my creative practice, helping me delve into the unknown and push the boundaries of my craft.

I use film to blend multiple art forms and explore the recesses of my psyche, through themes of self-exploration, the memories and traumas that linger in the body, and how one’s identity is reflected through their perception of the world. Designing worlds grounded in nature and reality that melt into dreamlike creations.

Because my work is deeply subjective, I try to uncover what my truth looks like candidly, using poetic, personal imagery and treating the medium as I might treat music. Creating worlds that blur nature and reality into dreamlike creations. 

As I continue to experiment with storytelling and film, I hope to invite meaningful conversation and create an honest space where others feel encouraged to examine and embrace their individuality.

In my free time, I cherish exploring unknown places, especially in nature, singing and playing folk tunes on my guitar, and grounding myself in my meditative practice.
